🌍 A New Space for Writing, Conversation, and Community
I have been writing for decades, and in recent years I’ve also shared thousands of texts.
For many years I have been writing – novels, articles, essays, and poems. Some of you know that my production has been extensive, and that I’ve never really managed to put down the pen. Quite the opposite: I have been writing for decades, and in recent years I’ve also shared thousands of texts on Medium and Substack.
But I have always longed for a space where what I write can meet people who are genuinely interested – a place where the text is not only read, but where a conversation, a dialogue, can also grow. For it is precisely in dialogue that my words gain meaning and life: when they meet the thoughts and experiences of others.
There is, however, one exception. I have been fortunate enough to find a writing friend in Australia who consistently authors insightful articles on a wide range of topics – and who always responds to and comments on what I publish, whether on Substack, Medium, or elsewhere. That kind of long-standing support has been invaluable to me, and I am deeply grateful, George, for such a conversation partner that you have been across the distance.
Still, aside from this one meaningful connection, I have missed a broader arena for mutual communication. Now I have found such a space. It is called Mighty Community.
Why Mighty Community?
Social media has its strengths, but it is designed to fit everything – and therefore often fits truly little. It quickly becomes superficial, fleeting, and fragmented. I want something different: a space for depth, reflection, and genuine two-way communication.
On Mighty Community I can offer courses, dedicated rooms for reading and writing, and, most importantly, a place for community and conversation. I already have a project underway there, with a clear goal:
👉 to create engagement and dialogue among people – not just here at home, but across the entire world.
What Can You Expect?
In the community - From Aging to Becoming—A Practical Path to Calm and Purpose - we begin with two main themes:
Aging and transformation — exploring how we can soften the years and turn later life into a time of growth.
Creative writing and reflection — using words to deepen awareness, voice, and calm.
As we move forward, we will also open spaces for reading and literature as inspiration, for exploring philosophical and societal questions, and for building community through shared life, wisdom, and voice.
This is not a place for quick “likes” or passing remarks, but a space for genuine exchange — where we can think aloud together, share experiences honestly, and grow wiser through one another. 🌿

Oivind, I love how you’re carving out a space for real dialogue instead of quick scrolls and shallow clicks. Writing comes alive when it sparks connection, and it sounds like Mighty Community will do just that. Wishing you many meaningful conversations ahead.
